Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva Training

12 Aug

Lyoto Machida and Anderson SilvaThis shot was sent to us from Fairtex Brazil, and features an article on Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva from PVT Magazine.  Here is a loose translation:

Title:

Humility and Dedication

(Picture of the month)

Whoever watches the “rides” that Anderson Silva typically gives his opponents may think the champ is a super-man; that he doesn’t get tired or doesn’t lose in one single training. But it is the very opposite, to get on the level he is right now, Anderson trains till his physical limit every day, a lot of times when his Sparring is all rested. On the 26th we followed him in one of his training. In the 10 rounds of wrestling sparring, Silva  were overthrown by Munoz and his 4 assistant a few times.  On his 5 rounds of submission, Anderson taped a few times like in this picture with Lyoto Machida. At the end of the training Anderson thanked all his training partners one by one for the “hard training” that helps him evolve every day.
